I'm Georgina, I've spent a lot of my life battling obesity, binge eating and confidence issues relating to my weight.  I tried every possible quick fix fad diet on the market for years in a search for an overnight 'miracle' until at age 34, I realised a complete life overhaul and attitude shift was needed if I seriously wanted to change.


I found a healthy eating programme that actually taught me about nutrition, how to cook and most importantly, how to enjoy food, lose weight and to do that without feeling hungry or depriving myself. I made a commitment to myself to give it 100% - to not give up no matter how slow my progress was and bit by bit, I began to change - and the changes weren't just the physical ones, more importantly and more long-lasting were the mental one.


I'm now over 10 years in to my new healthy life, I've lost over 11 stone from my heaviest weight, I've become fitter and enjoy being active, I love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen to create new healthy meals for the family to enjoy and learning about nutrition, wellbeing and self-improvement.


I was a Slimming World Consultant for almost 8 years and was awarded the national title of Consultant Slimmer of the Year in 2015. I left the role earlier this year but I'm still as passionate about healthy eating and food as ever!


I'm starting my blog to share some of my favourite recipes, food ideas, healthy living tips and am definitely happy to take requests for post ideas if you want to leave a comment.
